Pattaya is indeed a Golfer's paradise, with 18 (yes 18!) world class golf courses within a 40 Km radius of the resort. But while the quality of the courses is to top international standards - the prices are not.

Visitor green fees on weekdays average 750 baht ($18 USA), and professionally trained caddies are just an extra 200 baht ($5 USA).

Many of the courses are designed to championship standards by the word's top names in golf architecture: Jack Nicklaus, Nick Foldo, Robert Trent Jones, Jr., Gary Player and Nick Fream.
